Privacy
We built Wealthy Ted so that we never receive the financial figures you type.
What stays on your device
Amounts and choices you enter stay in your browser. By default they are saved in this browser's local storage so you can come back to them. If you turn off “Remember”, they are kept only during your visit: closing or reloading the page clears them. They are never sent to our servers, and you can delete them at any time under “Manage my data”.
No account, no bank connection
You do not need to create an account, and we never ask to connect to your bank.
Your control
On the My data page you can download your inputs as an Excel file, or delete them all at once. Clearing your browser data also removes them.
Hosting
Like any website, our hosting provider may process standard technical information (such as IP address and pages requested) to deliver and secure the site. This never includes the figures you enter in the calculators.
Links to other sites
Links to government sites or to our TikTok account open pages governed by their own privacy policies. We pass none of your figures to them.
Person in charge of the protection of personal information
Under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25), the person in charge of the protection of personal information for Wealthy Ted is the person who publishes the site. To ask a question, request access to or correction of your personal information, or make a complaint, write to tedwealthy@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.
The site does not collect personal information on its own: the only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us by email, used only to reply to you. We will never ask for your SIN, account numbers or financial details.
